Crew members shall have a 10-hour rest period during each 24-hour cycle and the maximum working day is 14 hours. Operators take into account 12 hours of rest instead of 10. These extra two hours allow the crew to have rest and return to the airport.
Flexible departure times are possible for private flights. Operators usually offer a two-hour window. However, you may ask for a longer window as long as it does not disturb the crew’s maximum duty day or its next scheduled flight.
When you leave the plane overnight, you have to pay the crew’s overnight costs. The cost depends on whether you are flying into or out of the USA. If you fly with a European operator within Europe, the certain rules apply: there is no additional charge for overnight crew accommodation, as it is included in the hourly rate of the aircraft.
Ari Jets does not own or operate aircraft. The company acts on behalf of its clients and serves as their agent. All flights are operated by air carriers certified under FAA Part 135. Carriers providing services to Ari Jets clients must comply with all FAA safety standards as well as additional safety requirements established by Ari Jets.
